However, since no method of transmission over the internet or storage system is completely secure, there is no guarantee that such data may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed if there is a breach of our safeguards.

Data is stored in the United States. By using the website or app, you understand and agree that we store and process your personal information in the United States, and consent that any information provided to us will be transferred to the United States.

Data Retention

We will retain your information while your account is active or to comply with legal obligations as needed. We will also retain and use your information as necessary to resolve disputes and prevent fraud, establish legal defenses, conduct audits, and enforce our agreements.

Children's Privacy

The website and app are not for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personal information (as defined by the United States Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) from children under 13 years of age. If you believe that we might have any such information from a child, please contact us at support@accountable.money and we will delete that information and terminate the child’s account.

The website or app may include links to websites or services that are owned or operated by third parties. Any information that is collected by a third party service is provided directly to the third party service and is subject to their privacy policy. We are not responsible for the practices and policies of third party services and recommend that you review the privacy policy of any third party service you access.

California Residents

California’s “Shine the Light” law allows users who are California residents to request information about how we share information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not share information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
